Prosecution Associate to Handle Social Media Clients, Off Lockstep Compensation

Prosecution EE,CS Silicon Valley 2012-2015

This prestigious AM firm has been expanding their IP practice on a national level by drawing in Rainmaker Partners with large books of business to join their IP practice group.  Many of the group’s Partner additions have resulted because of the firm’s commitment to providing these Partners with a strong bench. Due to the group’s growth, the leadership is looking to add an Associate who can quickly advance up the ranks.

The merger of the new Partners combined with the prestigious reputation of the firm has resulted in new unexpected business coming into the group.  The leadership doesn’t have a current Associate earmarked to handle this new work with the ability to transition into the Partnership ranks. This new work involves prestigious social media companies and the group’s emerging technologies practice group in Silicon Valley. The leadership is looking to immediately add a Partnership Tracked Associate that can support Partners working in Fortune Social Media Companies and Emerging Technology companies.  The Leadership is committed to mentoring and sponsoring this Associate into the Partnership ranks

The qualified candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. This Associate must have a prosecution background that has involved substantial client interaction. This person will work on cutting edge technical patent matters and deal closely with clients regarding patent portfolio management.  This Associate will also be supporting clients in the emerging technology practice with due diligence, merger and acquisition work, and analyzing potential patent infringements.  This position will include IPR work as well.

Our Network Recruiter recently placed with this group and that individual obtained a salary 45K above lockstep.  This position will also pay above market, is off lockstep, and will be on an expedited path to Partner.  The qualified Associate will have superior academics and excellent writing skills.  This person must also be registered to practice before the USPTO and admission to the CA bar is preferred.
