Sponsored/Expedited Tracked IP Trial Litigation/ IP Transactional Role
This prestigious AM firm has been expanding their IP practice on a national level. This expansion stems from new business development from the IP group’s leaders. To continue to facilitate this growth, the IP leadership needs to expand the Associate ranks with an IP attorney who has the ability and desire to become Partner on an expedited track. The qualified Associate will be able to advance on a rapid pace into the Partnership ranks so long as they can demonstrate the ability to take on added responsibilities.
The position will be focused on IP Trial Litigations, Client Counseling, IP transactions, including Due Diligence and high-end Prosecution work involving complex matters in the electro/mechanical and computer software technologies arena. Most of the IP litigation work will involve patent disputes (ITC, District Court, and PTAB). This person will be involved in all aspects of IP litigation, including taking and defending depositions.
The qualified Associate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or other related technical degree. This attorney should have 1-3 years of Big Law or major IP Boutique experience, outstanding academics, and excellent writing and communication skills. The USPTO is desirable but not required. This position is a national role, but it will be based out of the firm’s Cleveland office. This position will not be on a lockstep salary and the IP leadership is prepared to pay an above market salary as this role is critical for the group.
