The firm’s leadership is now looking to expand their IP practice in Washington, D.C. in the area of Patent Prosecution and Counseling. This person will become the IP Group Leader for the firm’s Prosecution & Counseling Practice Group. The qualified Partner should have portable business in the 2 million plus range for a Partner Role. If the qualified person has less portable business, the leadership will bring this person in as Counsel with a timeline track to Partner. This person should have a degree in Electrical, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or other related technical degree. The qualified candidate should also have strong management skills in terms of training and mentoring Patent Agents, Tech Advisors, Associates, and Sr. Associates. Since the firm has experienced unprecedented financial growth, the IP leadership has the firm’s authority to be aggressive in terms of offering a high end market compensation package to the qualified person. This is a critical role for the firm’s IP practice and the IP leadership is prepared to do whatever it takes to bring in the best qualified person for this role.
