ANDA Litigation Associate, Fast Track to Counsel/Partner
The Partners of this prestigious international AM law firm have turned to one of our Network Recruiters for assistance to locate a mid-level IP ANDA Litigation Associate. This person will report directly to IP Leadership Trial Lawyers.
The IP leadership's goal for this Associate will be to fast track this person into a Counsel role and then into the Partnership. The group is growing and the leadership would like to have an up through the ranks Associate to Partner promotion. The promotion will happen when the Associate demonstrates that he/she has the ability to be at the next level, Counsel, then Partner. The firm will assign a Partner to work exclusively with this Associate to help him/her develop the necessary competency skill set to be fast-tracked up through the ranks.
This Associate will be a member of the firm’s IP National Life Science Litigation Trial Team. This team works on the group's most prestigious trial bound litigations. This Associate will have extensive interaction with the firm's Trial Attorneys and the clients In-house Counsel. As a member of this team, this person will participate in advising clients on complex litigation strategies, as well as being involved in all aspects of trial litigation.
This position is being sponsored by Partners who sit on the firm’s executive and admin committees. The position will NOT be on a lock-step compensation and this person will be offered an above market compensation plan.
The qualified Associate should have 4 to 6 years of BigLaw experience in life science litigation, preferably ANDA litigation. This Associate should hold a BS degree (advanced degree a plus) in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related sciences. The firm is looking for this person to be based out of their New York City Office. The firm is considering candidates who would like to work remotely and who also have interest in the Chicago, D.C., Silicon Valley, and San Francisco marketplaces. The firm will also pay relocation expenses and at the current time allow this person to remain working from home. This Associate should have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and superior academic credentials.
