JUNIOR IP TRIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE (1-2 yrs.)
I am assisting one of our Network Recruiters in getting the word out on this career changing opportunity. This prestigious AM firm is expanding their National Trial Litigation Team. The position is being sponsored by the IP leadership and these Partners sit on both the Executive and Policy committee of the law firm.
To demonstrate how important this position is to IP practice group, the leadership (for the right Associate) is ready to pay two bonuses: one signing bonus of 100K walking in the door, and the other bonus will be at year end 2021 and this will be a “Full Bonus” paid on the Cravath bonus scale, 2021.
Our Network Recruiters primary focus is representing candidates working exclusively in the IP arena, specializing in representation of Partners, Small Groups, and Firm Mergers. They also represent Counselors, Associates, and Agents/Advisors. Upon making the successful placement, our Network Recruiters then assist their candidates in the buildout of their practice.
The firm’s IP leadership of this prestigious AM firm reached out directly to our Network Recruiter for assistance in locating IP Trial Associates to join their National Trial litigation Team. Our Network Recruiter placed technical Associates into this firm. Now these Associates are Partners and Group Leaders with the firm’s National Trial IP Litigation Practice Group. The leadership is now seeking to expand, as the group has been experiencing unprecedented growth over the past 5 years. These Associates hired will be on a faster than normal pace to become a Partner.

The IP leadership is seeking a Junior Level Associate with (1-2) years of patent litigation experience working in Biglaw. This Associate will be part of the firm’s national trial litigation team. This team focuses on “Bet the Company Litigations” and cases that will go to trial. The IP leadership provides excellent mentoring and does not hold an Associate back as long as they have demonstrated the ability to take on new responsibilities. Partnership consideration is not based on a specific timeline but when the Associate demonstrates the ability to actually become a Partner.
This is NOT a LOCK-STEP salary position. This firm has a reputation of paying some of the highest bonuses in the country and overall compensation. Excellent academics along with strong written and verbal communication skills are required. This person can work out of any of the firm’s nationwide offices or work remotely. The firm will pay for relocation to any of their offices if the Associates desire to work on site.
