Patent Agent / Technical Advisor, Superior Compensation, Cutting Edge Patent Work

The prestigious AM firm underwent unadvertised restructuring shortly after the market crash and emerged as a powerhouse on a national level. During this time, they invested additional capital into specific areas of the firm, which has paid dividends regarding added revenue and the expansion of the firm's client base.  This growth surpassed the firm's expectations and the leadership is now looking to expand the team.  

The leaders of the firm’s National Patent Practice are now seeking to add players to their team. The qualified candidate will focus on complex cutting edge patent matters.  This person will be involved extensively with the firm’s key major Fortune clients and their engineers in the areas of complex patent prosecution and patent portfolio development. This position will also be involved in opinion writing, and this will be for emerging companies in the Asia marketplace. 

The group’s leadership is looking for a Patent Agent/Technology Specialist with one to three years of Big Law or IP boutique experience.  This person should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering. The firm will consider other technical related disciplines. The USPTO and Asian language skills are preferred but not required. This firm pays on the top of the compensation scale and has been noted to be among the highest paying in the Patent Agent/Technology and Associates ranks by various publications. The firm will also pay for this person to attend law school.  The group will entertain either a lifetime professional or a law school bound professional.  This position can be based out of Boston or Washington, D.C.
