Growing Full Service IP Group, Partner Track IP Associate Role

The IP leadership continues to expand their bench and is looking for a Jr. to Mid-Level Associate to join their practice in San Diego  The position will involve extensive client interaction and client counseling, advising the clients on complex patent matters, involving cutting-edge prosecution, patent portfolio development, and IP transactional matters.  This Associate will supervise junior staff including Patent Agent and Technical Advisor and other Junior Associates.  The group does not focus on production prosecution work only sophisticated high-end patent prosecution work.  This Associate will be given added responsibilities as soon as they demonstrate that they can handle them. This Associate will grow into the Partnership Position each day they show up to work. Two Key IP Partners who sit on the firm’s Executive Committee, are spearheading the search and are working closely with our Network Agent on locating the right attorneys.  These roles are partner sponsored and the IP Leaders are looking for (2 to 5 years) of Big Law or IP Boutique experience.  The qualified Associate must hold a technical degree in EE, CS or another engineering discipline, and must have excellent verbal and writing communication skills, along with superior academics.  Above market compensation, sign-on bonus and relocation along with excellent firm benefits will provided.  This person must have a strong desire to be a Partner in Big Law sooner than later.
