This Am Law firm is seeking a qualified science advisor/patent agent to join the Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies group. Ideal candidates will possess experience in drafting patent applications and office action responses. Responsibilities include working on U.S. and foreign prosecution matters, Inter Partes Reviews, freedom-to-operate analyses, and due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers. Additionally, candidates will contribute to developing IP strategies for emerging technology companies and strategic portfolio development for public technology companies.
This firm seeks candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong academic credentials. A background in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, and/or electrical engineering. While admission to the Patent Bar is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role. The target salary range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000.
