PATENT PROSECUTION - TECHNICAL ADVISOR OR PATENT AGENT (HIGH-TECH) - BOS_772828

This Am Law firm is seeking a technical advisor or patent agent with expertise in computer science, computer engineering, and/or electrical engineering to join our team in Boston. Ideal candidates will have patent prosecution experience in technologies such as hardware and devices, software, database technology, artificial intelligence, wireless, and image and/or signal processing.

Key responsibilities include:
•        Reviewing invention disclosure documents.
•        Conducting prior searches.
•        Drafting patent applications.
•        Reviewing USPTO office actions.
•        Managing U.S. and foreign dockets.
•        Analyzing patents for due diligence and freedom to operate analyses.
Collaboration with team members is essential, with approximately 60% office presence encouraged.

Qualifications include a degree in computer science, computer engineering, and/or electrical engineering, patent prosecution experience in relevant technologies, preferably with prior work experience in a law firm. Strong written and verbal communication skills, professionalism in client engagement, excellent organizational abilities, and effective teamwork are essential.
